Screensavers?
« on: December 14, 2009, 07:27:15 PM »

even though screensavers are just eye candy these days, most people still have them. I currently have Electricsheep installed, and tend to switch between it and Matrix_ks, and this one thing that looks like the computer from Star Trek. Anyone else?

At home, I don't use one.  I just have my power settings to turn the monitor off when it's not in use because the monitor is the most expensive part of the PC to keep powered.

At work, we're forced to have the bouncing windows logo as the screen saver.

I used to use a good Star Trek LCARS one on my mac, but I'm really hunting for a good draedus one from BSG.

Anyone remember After Dark?

You bet your head I remember After Dark.  We had it for our Quadra 660AV back in the mid 90s.  That sucker had an ultra fast 14.4 modem too.

I normally just have Xscreensaver set on "random screen saver".
