Want to be some sort of "l33t h4x0r" and use Sub7 on your fellow AOL buddies? Look no further, all of the lamer questions can be answered here! (Please note the use of sarcasm)

Hey morons! This is not a real help page for Sub 7. Don't you idiots know what 'sarcasm' means? Do not email me with your questions on how to get an IP address or how to turn on your computer. I will not answer, and if I do answer, it will not be with something nice or helpful.

Q: Where can I get Sub7?
This can easily be found on the internet. Such a place to start would be a search engine like Yahoo or Google.

Q: Every time I download Sub7, my gay Norton Anti-Virus says it's a virus! What do I do?!
If you think something is wrong, perhaps walking away from your computer would be a good thing. Try reading about the damn things you download first.

Q: How do I get an IP address?
Use netstat in a DOS prompt to get it from someone when directly connected through AIM

Q: I have their IP!!! Now what do I do?
You can ping them(!)

Q: I have the server file, and ran it on my computer, but when I put their IP address in, nothing happens, HELP!
You stupid, ignorant sheep. Don't run the server.exe file on your own computer unless you want to have a good time getting the virus off of your computer.

Q: When I go to open the file, a bunch of programs come up to open it with, what do I use?
Again, if you don't know what to use to open a .zip, .ace, or .rar file, you should not be touching stuff like Sub7.

Q: Ok, I gave the other person the sub7.exe file, and I'm running the server.exe file, what now?

Q: I got the server file on their computer, I have their IP address, what now?
Ok, good start. This is how things are supposed to be done. You will then want to free some RAM up since it's a really demanding program. To do so, press and hold CTRL, and ALT and the same time, and then hit DELETE about 4 times. Rinse and repeat as needed.

Q: What port do I use for Sub7?
Use port 80, that's the default port for all things dealing with "the internet"

Q: Under the "Advanced" menu icon, it has an option for something called "FTP", what's that?
That is the computer's equivelent of PMS. You don't want to mess with this unless you want to have a hard time with your computer whenever you use it. It's generally not a good thing to mess with.

Q: I downloaded Sub7, ran the server file like you told me not to, and now my computer doesn't work.
Really? I told you not to. And then if your computer is broken, how the hell are you reading this? Therefore not making it broken. Fool.

Now, if this didn't help you, then I don't think you should even be contemplating the idea of even touching the program. This was meant to get the point to those of you that do need help with Sub7, and come here looking for help, that if you ask some pretty dumb questions, you should not be using the program.

This probably won't work because the "server.exe prog" listens on port 27374 for the client to receive information from it, thus, if the program wasn't there, how would they communicate?  :twisted:

You might want to try the BIOS Stabber too. It works wonders...at least it did for me.

Do you have Turbo 1600 Ghz RAM? It's really important if you want to use the CMOS Spanker, the BIOS Stabber and the Turbo Hard Drive Spinner.

Also, we have to have a picture of yourself as the Lizard Queen done in M$ Paint using lots of pretty colors. That's the price of admission, pal.

Sub7 does work. if your smart enough to get it on the victims machine.
Sub7 can usually be downloaded off Seven's website, currently the download is down. but he still has proggiez for ya'll to gawk at.

I don't think that anyone that actually posts in this thread asking for real advice actually reads anything on that page. You see the line that says, "(Please note the use of sarcasm) "? Do you know what sarcasm means? Here, let me help you.

i need help...and in light of lack of time...this is the first website i have come to for help. i know how to use sub7...my grandma could use sub7. i adm. a network-and i use sub7 to keep control of it and know whats going on. however i recently upgraded all the computers to XP PRO (should of went linux, not the point tho). i cannot keep the EDITSERVER.EXE open for longer then a minute or so. i have ran it from DOS, the command line, and of course from the explorer. and the fucker wont work damnit! so i was wondering if anyone was having this problem...or knew how to fix it. any help would be appriciated! thanx

You might want to look into something like Terminal Services to administrate a network. Sub7 really isn't the way to go in terms of administrating a network due to the nature of the program.

when i send my victim the server file ,and he clicks on it and get the fake error messenge  ,i still dont get the notify from icq and i have edited the server file and enabled the notify my icq and still no system notice !!!
what is the problem

I found this forum through a search engine while i was looking for sub7 2.2
I can not find this program anywhere.  Well thats not true i did find it but the .zip files where all password protected.  Is there any members of this forum that still have sub7 in a .zip file that i can have?.. Or maybe some one could point me the direction to a download?

When I  give the ip and prt number to sub7 and click connect, the status bar tellls me "looking for sub7 server", then it just disconnects. Any help with this?

lerner, there are a few of us over on HackerNetwork (http://www.hackernetwork.com/forum/) who can answer your question. You might find it worth your while to join up. Make your first post in the Teck Support section of the Forums. It's best if you use l3375p33k to get past the filters -- HN is hosted on a Cray SV1 at the DOD, so you have to be careful (but I'm sure you know the drill). The regulars will put you through the paces, pretending you're out of line and shit -- don't worry, it's just a test.

hello. your answers did help me a bunch. and im not sure if this is a stupid question or not. but when i download sun 7 i didnt get the files that it says are in it. all i got was a read me and a file called ICQMAPI.dll. im not sure if this makes me a noob cause i cant find the files but im not sure where to get em. could any of you help me?
