Hello Mike,
I'm responding to clarify a few things in your addition to the Internet (c). You see, "occasionally engaging in hex editing" sounds along the lines of "occasionally snorting a fat line of cocaine", or "occasionally apply crème as needed as per doctor's prescription”.
Please don't hesitate to respond and show me your abilities go much far beyond File->Open in Mommy’s favourite hex editor.
I also enjoy cookies.
Sincerely,
Fade Control C
... Coming off a little malicious. For sure. I wasn't aware I'd done anything to irritate anybody. "Mommy's favourite hex editor"? Wow, that hurt. It'd be cool if you asked how experienced I was sans the attitude.
As for the hex editing, I'm not extremely experienced or awesome with it(yeah, don't brush me off as a noob yet, I'm just new). I'm able to change strings(I know, yawn), and I know how to remove images from within bitmaps. Also, I only edit executables for my iPod (messing with the firmware, messing with the new ipod game executables). If you want to see my level of skill, check here: http://www.freewebs.com/ichaelmay8/ipgcustomexecutables.htm
I work with C more than I do hex, but I'm not incredibly awesome with C either. Pretty much everything I work on is at the site I linked to.
