Just criminalize sex and be done with it.

You mean it's legal where you live?!

I bought a remote control plane for the birthday of my friend's son a few month back. He didn't find it that intresting (he's only 6), but every few weeks me and his father grab a few beers and play with it.
So it's nothing strange, but at least i pretended it wasn't for me :D

Yay, go Spamhaus.
This probably won't help with the russians, nigerians or whatever spammers, so i don't think this is a solution, but don't ask me what would be, if i knew that answer the world would be a better place by now.

Anyway, i love the template, please keep it.

I was beeing sarcastic, thank you Ivan. But i am into voluntary eugenics, we all are even if we don't realize it. As in: i want to have children with THAT woman, so my progeny will (maybe) have those genes from her... And we could do better than that i think, but not with compulsory sterilisation of family members.

Offtopic and all that.

Nah, that was Australia :D

Here's my plan:
We should sterilize everyone involved in a crime more serious than... (there has to be set a miniumum level crime), and the 1st grade relatives: sons/daughters, siblings, parents. That way we'll get rid of the most violent genetic characteristics, we'll have a good evolutionary reason to follow the law, and we'll help with the overpopulation problem as a side benefit.

I know it's a long shot, but let's try in for a few hundred generations and see what happens...

Entertainment / Re: THE CREATION MUSEUM OPENS!!!!
« on: May 29, 2007, 09:51:02 AM »
As far as i read, the Deluge mith could come from something like the flooding of the Black Sea around 7-8000 years ago. That theory is contested (big surprise), and i don't know enough geology to have an opinion on that matter, but probably a much smaller flood, one that maybe wiped out a village, could explain it. You know that the bible authors had incorporated a lot of other stories from different cultures, and a story about a small flood could become a story about a total flood in a few generations.

On a different note, i would probably get very depressed in that museum.

Why would you want to visit? Didn't you see The Flintstones? It's all explained there.

Political Opinions / Re: Teachers drop the Holocaust...

The state of Israel was founded after the holocaust, the whole point of it's founding was that the jews wanted to keep this from happening again, and that they should be able to defend themselves. So denying that the holocaust ever existed takes away the reason of Israel state (or at least that's what Muslim fundamentalist think, i think).

And speaking of history and holocaust, there's hardly any mention in general of the stalinist holocaust. While the natzi killed around 6 million jews plus a few hundreds of tousants gipsies and such, in soviet rusia there were killed around 30 millions (estimated), in gulag-type prisons, plus a few millions in the eastern europe 'liberated' by the Red Army. That's hardly ever mentioned, because we wouldn't want to offend the russians, or the communists.

I'd say it's the same thing.

Exactly my point, tax money wasted. And not just wasted, but spent against public interest, as the "doctors" of these universities will probably slow down the scientific progress.

Yea, but they don't make little future taxpayers / church goers. What next, imigration? Imigrants don't vote republicans.

What i find amazing is that there are universities in the US that teach "creationism science" and "inteligent design", and they can give out degrees in biology or geology.
And really unbelievable is the fact that they get money from the state to do that.

Hi. I've read some posts in this forum ind i've found the posters realy funny (and some inteligent  :-D ), so i'll give it a try.

Since there's a special section for introductions, i'll use it, with the very original thread title "hello". I'm a sysadmin/ help desk worker, pretty much bored right now, and english is not my native language, so please forgive me if i miss-spell something.
