So much like twitter only better comes www.tumblr.com

It's a great free mini blogging community and hosts your photos, videos, mp3s etc. I started an account and found it quite the place for me to keep a photo blog.

Anyone else here have a tumblr account? Thoughts on tumblr?

no I have no clue what an LP is though a few things pop to my mind but I know you are not talking about them and It is pretty cool That Mike Bishop wants to go to your wedding. And I just remembered the other reason I dislike macs... GAMES cant believe I forgot to mention that honestly my mind must be slipping away already at the age of 19...
I didn't think that was a problem now that you can run bootcamp on macs.

Not to sure on this one though since I have a PC for gaming and my mac is strictly for photo editing and making music.

Will Smith To Direct Karate Kid Remake / Steven Chow In Talks

It looks like Will Smith is going to be all over the remake of the Karate Kid. Today we learn that he will not only be producing, but also directing the project. We get the scoop from our friends at moviesonline:

Will Smith is in fact going to direct the upcoming Karate Kid movie according to production notes. His son Jaden Smith will also star. There has been alot of past speculation on who would star, and who would direct but it would seem the speculation can now end. Overbook Entertainment have Will Smith listed as the director and Jaden Smith as its star.

Will Smith has had quite the journey. If you would have told me back in the day, that The Fresh Prince would be directing a remake of the Karate Kid in the future (as the Kung Fu Kid); I would of called you a liar and a prophet of questionable ability. But here we are, and it looks like Mr. Smith’s directorial debut on a feature film, will be alongside his son and Jackie Chan or Steven Chow.

Steven Chow has confirmed that he is in talks to play Mr. Miyagi and we get his words on the matter today via themoviehole:

Martial arts magnate Stephen Chow (“Kung Fu Hustle”) has confirmed online rumours that he’s in talks to play wise and wrinkly warrior Mr Myiagi in a ‘’Karate Kid’’ remake.

“I’m very fond of ‘The Karate Kid’ and would love to join in the remake project, no matter as a producer, director or actor”, says Chow. “But it depends on my schedule. As you know, next year I will work on two movies, ‘Dragon Ball’ and ‘Journey to the West.’”

So it is not yet confirmed that Chow will be Miyagi, but he is certainly still in the running. Chan is a high octane contender however and although both men are great choices, I think I would prefer the pastoral Chan for the role of Kung Fu Master. Lots of news out today regarding this project and we will have to hope that they walk with the wisdom of Macchio to create a film that pays tribute to the original.

Name: Chris a.k.a. Vampire
Age: 19
Country: United States
Job: soon to be an Army Information Technology Expert otherwise known as an IT
religion: Bruce Campbell...
Hobbies: Video games, anime, movies, computers, and music
Relationships: single cause women are insane
Horoscope: Cancer
About me:
I love computers to the point when i go into basic Training I am probably gonna cry myself to sleep because ill be away from my computer... but once I am done I will be buying myself a new rig that will bring tears of joy to my eyes! I will give you guys the specs once I finally order it. I am not going to basic for several months because my sister is preggers and wants me here for the baby to be born.

Things I loathe: Ipods, Iphones, mac os, rap, dell, internet exploder, and my exs
Things I love: My computer, Windows vista, and Bruce Campbell the only man I would turn gay for!
I was actually referring to this. If the ladies are out and Bruce is the only man he'd be gay for then I must deduce that he is in fact gay and just saving himself for Bruce.

I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure Bruce Campbell wouldn't be gay for you.

AHAHAHAAA

AWESOME! I pulled something similar with my ex-boyfriend and room mate. It was like 9am on a saturday so my bf got up to answer the door in his boxers and when we (me and the room mate) heard who it was we jumped into action.

I walk up with a thin sheet that barely covered anything to ask "honey, who's at the door?" then the (male) room mate walks up naked and says "guys, come back to bed. i'm cold and it's too early to be awake after our night"

That guy looked like he was going to shit a mule!

Robert D. = epic fail at being a super hero, do not get me wrong I like the guys acting abilities but he is not crime fighting material. No matter how much he can relate to a pill popping loser I do not like him for this role.
Have you ever read an Iron man comic? Do you know anything about Tony Stark? Have you seen the trailer?

Because if you have then you have poor taste. Robert Downy Jr is perfect for the roll. At first I was skeptical but then after much thought I knew it would be good. Now after seeing the trailers I know for SURE it will be awesome because of him, his acting and the EXCELLENT casting choice made.

Who else could pull this off as well as him?

Political Opinions / Re: Olympics . . . boycott?
« on: April 09, 2008, 04:08:03 PM »
I could agree with moving the Games, but I think that's pretty much out of the question. It takes years to get set up, etc.  I wouldn't want to boycott the Games, though, solely for the athletes. If not for that, I could even get behind just cancelling the whole shebang.
This is what I came in to post.

There's no reason to punish the athletes for China's mistakes.

Now if an athlete wants to forfeit their place and not compete to make a political point then more power to them. Even more if the entire team from various countries did this.

There was an incompetent programmer with whom I used to work who used to mispronounce the word "encapsulate".

She used to say "enscapulate".  It drove me batshit nuts.
It drives me nuts when my BF pronounces STAMINA as STANIMA.

I don't know, judging by some of the people you've had introduce themselves, one might argue they fall into that category. Not him, specifically, just saying.
I haven't brought anyone here

I voted Obama in the primary.

I really didn't see a point to taking a third party since it's really between Hilary, Obama or McCain. I agree more with Obama than McCain and feel that Hilary's "my way or the highway" attitude will just divide the powers that be and get nothing done. She's un-compromising and right now we need someone that's going to unite us as a people through some compromise to get what needs to be done, done.  Obama is a good speaker and will do good by the democrats AND republicans to fix what needs fixing and ensure he gets a real shot at a second term.

So what I'm trying to say is....Obama.
