I already drink too much, but people don't seem to complain about second-hand alcohol. I don't have to step outside every time I have a drink. While alcohol is being taxed, it hasn't been taxed to the extent that tobacco has. I don't have the time, knowledge, nor desire to grow and process my own tobacco. Alcohol can be made quickly, easily, and fairly cheap. My flask doesn't get all crinkled throughout the course of a day causing undesired, nearly permanent bends in alcohol like a flimsy pack for cigarettes does. Most importantly, alcohol provides a level of self medication that tobacco does not.
I also don't eat sweets. 34

I haven't had much of a mental reaction to severe cut-back. There have been some reaching situations, but outside of that the withdrawals have been physical. And honestly... They are not any worse than a bad hangover these days. I hate getting old. I hate doing grandmothers too. 39
