I've been having random display issues today. Some immages wouldn't load, then I'd refresh and they would load but others I had before would be gone and then aminute later it's all back to normal.

We find nearly everything amusing on the internet.  It's all in how you look at things...

I was fiddeling around with the admin panel the other day but I seriously doubt I would have changed the permission of the boards. I only bumped the mods to admins.

And today?

Funny, I typed two words in google and found it. First result in the list in fact. And I didn't even use quotes. Shame on you GreenIce. Shame on you!

Have you tried here?

but as soon as i changed cd drives the video card stopped woking

That doesn't make much sense. Perhaps you accidently jiggled the card?Does the board have a built in video card? Make sure that you disable that in the bios if you are using a seperate video card.

My advice is the remove all components that are non essential, like your  modem to dial into AOL for example, and start booting the PC without all the crap. Remove any sound cards that you have, or any thing that isn't necessary for the operation of the PC including your CDROM and or DVD. Try to see if it will boot up proprely and operate normally. If so, then shut down and add one component back in. Repeat process until you figure out which component is causing problems. If it appears random, then you may have a power problem. Replace your power supply.

If all esle fails, you can always turn to the CMOS spanker utility or the turbo hard drive spinner.

We don't usually discuss WinME... But try your device in another PC to confirm Demo's hunch.
