McDonald's or Burger King?
« on: October 10, 2003, 01:57:13 PM »

Y'know, the two major fast food chains. Gotta love 'em. I'm actually for a third option, Wendy's, but I'm just gonna spew out the top two.

Personally, I'll eat at either place, but both have something I dislike. McDonald's...well...the name could say it all. I've had many bad experiences there, and the food isn't all to my liking either. BK is alright as well, tastes somewhat fresher, but more expensive than anywhere else I've eaten.

That's my schpeal. Vote away.

I tend to eat at McDonald's more often, but that's primarily because of three things:

1) Close to where I work
2) Cheap
3) McChicken sandwich with cheese == yummy!  :)

I prefer Burger King as an overall, however, based on the quality of food and the selection on their menu.

But I don't live or work very near a BK, and as mentioned, they are more expensive, marginally.

Burger King.  No question about it.  Three triple bacon cheeseburgers, large order of fries, and a bigass mofuggin' Coke.

Damn you people. I'm going to have to stay loyal with McDonald's primiarly because I've been working there for about a year and a half now. The new chicken breast strips that we got in with the spicy buffalo sauce are pretty good if you ask me.

Half of the time that you eat at one of these places, you're eating waste, food that should not be served to customers. If you actually get fresh food for once from either place, it would really not be that bad, the food is actually pretty good when it is fresh. It's not a scam by the store to get more money, but laziness on the crew's part, they don't want to do anymore work than they have to.

Wendy's is the frigging best!

But if it comes down to McD's or BK, it comes down to money.  If I  want to splurge (on both money and calories), I'll go to Bk for a whopper Jr. mmmmmmmmm!

But usually I just go for the easy happy meal at McDonalds.  That frigging clown creeps me out, but you just can't beat a meal for $2.50...plus you get a toy!  I mean...c'mon!

Wendy's 4life baby. But like other people here, if i have to choose between BK and Mcpukes as my dear mother sometimes refers to it(sorry Chris) I'd have to go with BK, i just think the food is better quality.

So are you saying that I should only pay $.60 for my burger (without mustard!), fries and little drink?

Pretty much, it probably should even cost less if they didn't have to profit off of it. The cost of food for the stores down there must be less than up here. The same thing is 3.17 total up here in New Jersey.

Mickey D's McNuggets get me going.  If I'm in the mood for watching some movies on any given day, I'll probably go buy thirty or forty McNuggets, fries, and lots o'fuggin sauce.

Hey Chris, have you heard about that thing where fastfood restaurants have an 'acceptable' level of fecal matter and dead insects allowed in their meat?

In all fairness, grain mills and meat processing plants have similar standards for acceptable levels of "fecal matter" and "dead insects".

Yeah I would choose Wendy's over all but, of the two we always eat McDonald's even though BK is closer. They just aren't as good...

Wendy's is probably my favourite large franchise fast food place to get a burger.  Good stuff.

Now, now.  I like Toxic Hell.  Their Grilled Stuft Burrito is farking AWESOME.  Two of them fill me up, which says a lot about the size of a burrito.

Yeah, I was just thinking Taco Bell.  I love it!  Mmmmm.  Jay, I tried that grilled stuft burrito.  That was so good!  I usually just stick with the tacos and meximelts though.

As for Wendy's...the potato rolls make all the difference.

McDonald's loyalist all the way.  I grew up on the stuff and I turned out wonderfully (neither the stunted growth nor the psychosis has been scientifically linked to McDonald's food).  I swear if the bathrooms were clean I could actually live at those Wal-Marts that have the McDonald's in them.  Grab my biggie fries and double cheese burger, stop in over at the book section and pick out some brain rotting assembly line book, then scoot on over to the garden area and lounge on one of those porch swings they always have set up.  Of course if it's rainy out I'd have to go pick out one of the recliners....  too bad they don't set those up near the TV section.

Mickey Dee's.  They always send kickass coupons, so it's always really cheap.  And they screw up my order minorly very often, so I get a lot of free meals from them very often, as well.

What's so hard to comprehend about a Quater Pounter with cheese, WITHOUT CHEESE!  Geeze.    A diet coke and fries, and I'm good to go.
