This reminds me of the time I was in some jazz club in Germany and I had a conversation with a guy who said: " aha so you're Dutch, that's awesome ! I been all around Europe and I really love it here ! Especially the Netherlands are really so relaxed, have you ever been there ?"

Denmark and the Netherlands do actually look-a-like, geograpically. Rather small and lying low, with somewhat the same language from an outside view. Our flags are very different though.

WHY oh WHY is it "Dutch" and not "Netherlandish" or "Netherlish" AAARRGH. I can't stand it. Too much like "Dutchland", or, 'Deutschland'.

we don't have that problem in spanish

Unless someone calls it "paises bajos" but most people don't. At least not here.
