This, of course, going on the assumption that he suddenly dropped pacifism. Also, Abe Lincoln was all gangly and awkward. I'm sure Ghandi has much better dexterity and agility, which would work greatly in his favour. And let's not forget that endurance.

Lincoln ate regular meals, Gandhi was often pretty starved as I recall. Plus wasn't Lincoln a boxer/wrestler or something?

Well height and reach are important, remember the celebrity boxing match between Manute Bol and William 'The Fridge' Perry?  Manute won handily.
