I bought a remote control plane for the birthday of my friend's son a few month back. He didn't find it that intresting (he's only 6), but every few weeks me and his father grab a few beers and play with it.
So it's nothing strange, but at least i pretended it wasn't for me :D

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being "fuck no, don't buy it" and 10 being "sell your soul for it", what do you think you would rate the heli in terms of do or don't go get one?

Can you fly it outside? On Mythbusters they said that the small ones don't work well outside because the slightest breeze can throw them off course.

6-10 is what I give it. You can fly outside as long as there is zero wind.

It's actually hard to control, and it doesn't go fast and requires constant adjustments in with the trim. The best way to make it fly fast and steady is to continually fly on clockwise circle, but that's pretty boring. I'm still having fun with it, but not as much as expected.

I dunno...I like the helicopter they had on that episode of Mythbusters when they busted the myth that if a bunch of birds are in the back of a truck, and they all start flying, the truck will weigh less.

It's probably either my favourite show, or my second favourite. I am very bad at picking favorites. But I DO know that that particular episode featured the SWEETEST remote control helicopter I've ever seen.
