This makes me SO freaking happy. When I first heard about Robert Downy playing Tony Stark I thought to myself "THAT pill popping drunk???" then immediately smacked my forehead and thought "PERFECT!".

After looking at pics of the suits and watching some video of the suit I'm actually getting excited that this movie will not suck.

I'm excited about the movie also, but I'm a bit apprehensive considering the director. Jon Favreau rarely disappoints me, but I hardly think something like this is up his alley. It'll be interesting to see if he can pull it off.

This movie has got to kick ass, I dunno about Jackson as Nick Fury though. I always figured he'd make a good War Machine. Any idea who's playing Jim Rhodes then?

I just read on the IMDB site (I don't trust IMDB) that originally Quentin Tarantino was writing, then Joss Whedon, and I don't know now. Either one of them could turn out something I'd go to see (apparently Joss wrote the script for the second X-Men movie but they removed all but two lines or something).
