True it's just a lot of wishful thinking but the idea that we may actually have something like this in our lifetime is fucking AWESOME.

That's lame.

There were at least 3 different images that the presented as 100,000X and they were all so completely different levels of zoom that it was stupid.

Buh-sides, they mentioned not once how the technology will be enabling us Pirates to defeat the Ninja once and far alllllllllllll.

pfft... I'm screwed whoever wins the war... I'm a pirate ninja... also that looks awesome... i mean how cool would it be to have a computer, phone, and watch and probably a shit load of other fun stuff all in one and it wraps around your wrist... although I'm saying its about 25 years off though if you think about it... the predator style pc/phone combo with mp3 player and wireless headphones would be insanely awesome..... seriously i want to see a wrist computer now... we are getting closer and closer to it... hell id even get it if mac made it!

Vamp, your post has some merit, but why did you bother practicing fledgling necromancy on an almost three month old thread?

I trust you've read our rules, yes? Then you'd know this is also frowned upon. Just giving you a heads up, try not to do it again.

Edit: I see your ability to post has been temporarily removed. Well, here's hoping you're watching!  :-D

I guess I should have made a new thread instead of slightly reviving that one.

II believe that this is the most amazing concept I have ever seen and that it will be in place within 25 years.  But, until then we get to play with the "Zypad WL 1100" (here is the link: http://www.zypad.com/zypad/wearablecomputers.aspx?pg=Zypad%20WL%201100). I want to discusses the many applications for this computer including Millitary, healthcare, and anything else you can think of! So, In the spirit of science and the future lets start posting!

I hope that in the future they develop a cure for people who use exclimation points way more often than they should.

Further, I hope they can develop a sensor that detects common sense levels and alerts others when they're dealing with someone that will be a waste of their time.

I merged these topics because you supposed you should have started a new thread, yet you felt the need to quote from this thread.  Since you're wrong more often than not, I merged them just to spite you.

What is it about that wearable computer that makes it any better than the technology curently available in a smartphone?  It looks weak to me.

RTFP.

You may have to translate that for him DS.

Seems to be a lot of that going on with trying to read his posts.
