As you may know NPR is a radio news station which discusses current events, politics and culture. Yet even though the average age of an NPR listener is 47, the station surprises me sometimes. A few days ago, I was listening to this story about social network etiquette:

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=91769865"Once you've learned how to navigate new communication technologies, there's a new problem to tackle: how do you actually communicate? Should you ignore the unsolicited invitations to play online Scrabble and compare movies you've never seen with someone you've never met? Can you be friends with someone you've never met? Can you ignore their "friend" requests? Steve Johnson, Internet critic for the Chicago Tribune, explores the nuances of online etiquette with Scott Simon."

Its just so bizarre to hear these older men discussing the etiquette of a friend request on Face Book.
I <3 NPR.
