Everybody climb on the boredom train!  I'm trying to recruit as many people as possible for a new boredom relief website, so if you have good ideas and/or would like to write for it, gimme a shout out!  If I like you and your work enough, you can be a card-carrying member of the Bored Geek's Support Group.  Hell, you can be a member even if I don't like you.

O'Reilly books own.  I just bought two new ones (app. cost: $70), so I should be on my way to Information City in less than a week.  Always new things to learn; always new ways to geek out.

Egg McMuffins are perhaps the center of my breakfast Universe.  I love coming home from work with a fat sack of McMuffins and hashbrowns, all waiting to be eaten.  They never complain about it; if anything, they're happy to be devoured by a fatass in an Elantra.  They have no clue what awaits them when they leave the bag.  But the same fate is always in store for them unless, of course, I set them down and forget about them.  Then they luck out.  But otherwise, they're dead every time.  Hot sausage patty smothered in cheese, on top of egg and covered on each side with half a biscuit.  I love it.

Sounds like a cool idea..

I think an irc channel would be cool; just a general tech/geek centered channel.........though I dunno if anyone around here uses irc so maybe its a bad idea.

Would this "Boredom Group" be put on here, or on a seperate site altogether?
