I want to start a topic on the subject of best movies ever. Personally I think the tree movies considering the Godfather may be the best tree movies ever, but come with your opinion.

I think the best tree movie is probably Swiss Family Robinson.
Or maybe The Two Towers.
-
A Boy and His Dog.
-
Snatch, Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, Shaun of the Dead, and The Life of Brian.
Best five films ever made.

At my age, that's plenty.
-
Also, LOL Ivan. Personally I'd go with Pocahontas. That old tree is bitchin'
-
If you're talking TV show, HR Puffnstuff is by far the best.
-
I have to agree that Shaun of the Dead is a good movie, but i would not consider it as one of my top 3 movies. ATM I am kind of digging the whole old gangster/mafia movies. I really love that time :-P
-
Equilibrium, Blindness and Godfather II
-
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I'm sure Demosthenes would agree
-
Beauty and the Beast.
-
Beauty and the Beast.
I feel a little dirty for dropping that film out of my top five. But Shaun Of The Dead slowly climbed up and stole it's place.
Also, Elizabeth, would you like a slice of gum?
-
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is definitely a classic.
-
I put my vote in for The Good The Bad and the Ugly. The whole man with no name trilogy was pretty excellent.

Agreed, but let's not forget History of the World; Layer Cake; Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; and Sexy Beast
I'd like to throw in Super Troopers too, it never gets old to me
-
Do movies we shot ourselves count?
-
What weapon did you use to shoot it?
-
The new topic of this thread: What movie would you shoot if you could.
Me? Face Off.
-
I would shoot It's a Wonderful Life and use exploding ammo and make sure that I hit every single frame of that festering pile of vomit.
-
I like that movie.
-
What weapon did you use to shoot it?
I shot it with a knife. Ask me how.
-

How?
-
How?
Loaded a knife into a shotgun and shot the knife at the bitch.
-
Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue. Cinematic gold.

It depends on my mood and what the definition of "best" is. There are some truly astounding works out there I don't think I'll want to watch again. There are some movies out there that are by no means great which I could watch repeatedly without getting too sick of them. There are some movies I once thought were great that I've apparently outgrown. There are some movies out there that other people think are full of awesomeness and win which I just plain don't like.

OK, which one of you is this? Lacerda? Ivan? Xolik?
-
Not it!
-
No tit!
-
Lacerda? Ivan? Xolik?
Summed up in this way they could be hobbits.
"Samwise did you see who stole my pipeweed?
"Lacerda, Ivan or Xolik mr. Frodo"
-
I wouldn't steal pipeweed, that's not cool man
-
my favourite movie? Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and it has nothing to do with demo using it in his sig and avatar, just for the record.
-
Cannibal The Musical was good, but I think Bat Boy the Musical or Medea the Musical are just a notch above.
-
I actually really enjoyed Damn Yankees.
-
I loved Mama Mia too.

Rrrrrreaaaallly.
-
I never saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the Musical. Who was in it?
-
So many movies in too many different genres! :D
Pi, Clockwork Orange, A Tale of Two Sisters, 2001: A Space Odyssey, or Apocalypse Now. Between those I have no idea. :D
-
my best movie is godfather.
-
my best movie is godfather.
Francis?
-
Lighten up Francis
-
The Life of Brian is an interesting movie
and my all time favourite.

What do you think about Spamalot?

What do you think about Spamalot?
Heh.

I think a best movie ever for me is ‘Home alone’ series it’s a wonderful movie which makes everyone laugh.
-

Good point. It’s easy to make listing movies much harder than it needs to be. What makes me laugh the most, feel the most, think the most, etc.?
I usually credit Big Fish as my favourite, but I suppose it holds personal meaning...
You see, my biological father is a tuna.
-
The Big Tuna himself? Mr. Jim Halpert?

The Big Tuna himself? Mr. Jim Halpert?
Oh, man... I wish he was even half as cool. Jim's pretty great. :-)
-
My biological father ran a nautical music-themed seafood restaurant called "Songs of the Deep" but it went out of business.
They were out of tuna
-
I hope lots of puns were harmed in the making of that menu. Honky Catfish, The Longfin & Winding Road, Scallop, Up, & Away, Rock Lobster (of course, I guess that one can remain untouched), etc.

I liked that one movie where that one guy went to that one place and did that one thing. And that other guy was in it, but he did something else.
