Greetings.  I went to ASU for Masters Nationals back in 2003.  I think it was in the hundred teens that week.

Hi!

My position on border security is that we need to put more people down there to keep guard.  I think putting the National Guard was a start, but we need to put more money into hiring Border agents.  I believe if we had more people keeping watch, this would minimize the amount of people crossing, which would make many Americans happy and would minimize that amount of people dying/getting hurt in the hot desert.  Finally, I think it would also affect the amount of drug trafficking that gets across.

I run XP.

No, I didn't know where the name came from, but that's pretty cool information.  It all makes sense now.

Yes, I knew that, but since it is land-locked and can't grow anymore, I see it falling in the ranks.  But it is still a nice, fun place to live.  Lots of hot chicks ;).

I haven't seen your "pajamers".  I "third" the motion!

That it does no good to beef up security at the border when the incentive to come across the border is still strong.  We don't need immigration reform, because we had it in 1986 (or thereabouts).  If we were to simply enforce the laws that are currently on the books, that would probably be sufficient.  Bottom line, as long as we aren't punishing the employers who hire illegals, the illegals know they can come here and work, and they will continue to do so until that impetus is removed.

And above all else, let's not forget that Mexico didn't attack us in 2001.  In fact, the criminals who did, didn't come in across the Mexican border either, so it's not really the "security issue" that some people would have us think that it is.

I always thought there WAS a fence along the border.

How Naive.

She's right, they entered through Canada, not surprising, as the United States didn't really bother with that border.

Verspertine doesn't like it when you misspell "She".  I fixed it for you before she saw it.  ;)

(She does, however, love it when I misspell Vespertine.)

Well I can't blame her for that, but back to the border issue, I don't care where they're from as long as they are hard workers and can understand the redneck language. Those that are not willing to learn the dialect of the area however, should leave.

Make Mexico the 51st state.

Problem solved.
