Soul Cal IV
« on: August 29, 2008, 02:24:27 AM »

Anyone play Soul Caliber IV yet? I did on the PS3 version, and liked it pretty well. However, I am slightly disappointed Yoda isn't on the PS3 version of the game. I heard somewhere that down the road there is going to be a download available for game owners to get him on PS3s and get Vader on X360s.

I played it briefly on a friends PS3.  It was pretty.

I like fighting games and the SC series have been the best but there didn't seem to be much change besides the graphics improvement.

Agh! I have not played it yet. Hey, at least the PS3 has Vader. As you might remember they stiffed us (by us I mean strictly Playstation owners) with Heihachi from Tekken last time.

He was actually a fairly powerful character and I love Tekken, but come on the other consoles got Link and Spawn.

Look at you, hacker: a pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?

I'm just glad that I opted ps3 simply because I was most excited about it because of Vader. Though, when you go into Arcade mode, you have to defeat the apprentice. I was reading up on it, and you can unlock him - he's pretty powerful. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to yet because of due dates. I wish I owned rather than rented it.  :|

No kidding.  Heihachi's weapon of mass destruction?  Bracelets.

I think they made the game primarily for online mode. I bought the game, and had EVERYTHING unlocked 3 hours. Vader is especially powerful, but still haven't figured out how to use his and "the Apprentice"s force powers. I haven't played it in about 2 weeks.
