what is this running you speak of? ;)

I assume it's something normal people do when being chased by something...otherwise, no idea

I actually love her guts.

Aww, thanks  :-D  I have awesome viscera, what can I say.

i, for one, hate your guts.

Thin =! in shape.  I am thin, but I am not in shape.  For example, if I tried to run for an extended length of time, the result would be hilarious, for people who are not me.

To Picard this thread, or not to Picard.

I'll at least reference it:

Picard is damn busy today.

Thanks, for making the standard noob post...even if you didn't mean it.

I'm slender.  I am also honest to a fault.  Unfortunately, when people ask me what my secret is, I tell them the truth:

Entenmenn's Chocolate Fudge Cake, and Buffy on DVD.

That aside, I eat as healthy as someone with a limited budget and mostly dependent on cafeteria food can.  I don't work out, which I've heard is supposed to be good for you or something. ;-)

Just wait till I hit 30ish.  Apparently then I will be "in for it".

I saw Juno....it was cute, even funny at times, but a lot pretentious.

Stop bashing her. First you take her love, then you take her land, then you take her where she cannot stand.

Well you know what? SHE DOES NOT CARE! She is still free.

You can't take the sky from her.

Apparently no power in the 'verse can stop her.  Or so I've heard.  Shiny.

I was looking at the original of the pic BizB and thought to myself, "aw hey, that looks like fun."  And then I scrolled down.

I'm a fan of "pants" in the place of the subject of movie titles/popular movie lines.  I haven't tried out pants in songs.  I guess that's sort of old ham hand by now.

My MIL (actually SMIL) has a cat named Cleo-Catra

*twitch* oh boy.

Cleo is just Cleo.  She is a diva, and hates everything.

My friends and I will quote our favourite movies/tv shows, and inject terminology from that stuff into our daily language.

"Shiny!" From Firefly/Serenity, to mean, nifty, cool, awesome, etc.- is context-dependent.

Frack/frak- BSG

Gorramn-  when you really want to say goddamn but are in place in which this is not a good idea.  also from firefly/serenity.

As an answer to an annoying/inane question: "42"
meaning: your question is worthless, thus my answer is not an answer specific to your question.  Instead, it is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

i've always been a fan of people names when it comes to naming pets.

I do volunteer work with cats, and can I tell you how awful some of the names are!  The woman who has taken it upon herself to be in charge of naming them misspelled Frodo the other day as, "Frotto".  Every time I pass his cage I cringe.  Other winners: cagemates "Marsh" and "Mellow", "Jumping" and "Jacks", and, "Dusty Tail".  She means well and loves these cats, but DAMN.  Poor dears.

But it was funny!  No more previewing!  Proofreading be damned!

I got a new cat recently.  She finally came out from under the couch today.  I don't have a picture of her yet.  In fact...I don't even have a NAME for her!  I haven't had a girl cat since I was a kid.  I don't know how to name those ones.

Last time I named a pet was Cleo about 7 years ago.  She just looks like a Cleo.

When in doubt, favourite female characters from books, tv, and movies are always good options.

You know, the man will put you away if you burn too many things.  Fire bad, tree pretty.  Just keep that in mind.

Welcome to the forum... stay off the grassy knoll, that's a TARDIS materialization zone.

And trust me, you don't want one landing in you.

True, but it usually gets windy and makes that whirring scifi-esque noise right before it appears, so you do get some warning.

oh, and welcome, I guess...?

I never programmed on a TI-83.

But I do love Monty Python!
"This bird is D-E-A-D dead!"

Welcome welcome.

Heya!

She might be one of those creepy people in the commericals.

Does anyone else notice that there is something a bit off with these people?

They seem drugged to me.  Not because all people on dating sites are on drugs, but the people in the ads seem to be.  Not the fun ones either; more like tranquilizers for some and uber anti-depressants for others.

OH HAPPY DAY!

http://www.hellokittyonline.com/us/

Goodbye, WoW!

Ugh, why do I click on these things???  At least it wasn't obnoxiously pink. Just moderately tacky.

Ok, I admit it, some of that shit is cute.

ps: Happy S.A.D.!  (Singles Awareness Day)
