i begged my mom for years to get me an NES after it came out, no luck. then a SNES, no luck agian. then in '95 she brought a computer home from work. a 486/25 with DOS installed. she said learn how to use it, and i was hooked. i taught myself everything i could about that thing, how to upgrade, how it worked, what POST ment. that passion influenced what job i got in the army, and now i fix radars.

Nintendo will win. People always say that nintendo makes games for kids, and this is true to a point. but you have to admit, with out kid gamers, you dont have adult gamers. plus i dont think nintendo will ever really die, they have innovation and new ideas on their side. nintendo has weathered the last 20+ years, and as mentioned before, the japaness are crazy. but in the end the computer with rule the day. WoW will live forever.

Has anyone ever read Seduction of the Innocent? it seems to me that history in politics repeats itself quite often. comic books and movies in the 50's, music and video games now. the "cause" remains the same (although replace the word "communist" with "terrorist") just the meduim has changed.

Well a bit about me. I got into computers about 10 or so years ago when my mom brought one home from work. Im no super geek or anything, but people do always seem to come to me with their questions, good thing it mostly has to do with a spyware infested hard drive. I am currently in Iraq doing my best to keep a couple of radars up and running in this killer heat. Most of the things i enjoy have been put on hold for the year that i am here, but at least i still have my heavy metal and my computer, the beer can wait. well thats about enough for now, see you in the forums.

Oh, and I cant code a lick, but its on the books to be learned.
