So you're a new girl? Everything's healed up; ready for action?

ROFL! No, I'm SO busy right now. Just got into school and my first lesson is hella hard.

*looks swamped*

I signed up for this torture. I don't know why, but I did...

Hell no, not skatin.

I just enrolled in midwifery school. I *had* to pick the hardest school, with the extra lessons package. I'm apparently a closet masochist.

I thought I was l337, but I suck! *cries*

I'll get it done...it's just a LOT of work.

One of My Wife's dreams is to become a midwife... how long do you have to go to school?  Where are you going?  Why did you choose this (incredibly unconventional) route?

I'm going for about 3.5 years. It's a correspondence course so I can do it all by mail. I'm going through ancientartmidwifery.com .

I'm intending to become a direct entry midwife. Birth is a spiritual event, not a medical one (IMHO). I had my kids at home and it was just fantastic. I can't even describe it. Totally awesome.

When I was younger I wanted to become an OB/GYN, but  now I realize that I just wanted to experience the magic of birth. I'm completely called to lay midwifery.
