Okay all you geeks out there, open up your damn gangly geek arms and give me a welcome hug (you can use your one good arm that the m.s.o.'s didn't get, pb).

*notices list of mods and strategically places both hands in front of crotch to block Lacerda's infamous "swift kick to the jimmy" finishing move*

For those of you who don't know me here's a little about myself.

"If it wasn't for her love of trashy tabloids, Miss LeClair might never have found me. When my mother abandoned me as a baby she covered me with a copy of the Enquirer to keep me warm. As it were, Miss LeClair found me there on the steps and took me in with the rest of the children. Believe me, there's no hell like a Quebecois orphanage.

As I grew older, I quickly became skilled in the art of the grift, and soon enough the other children recognized me as their leader. My influence was wilding like spreadfire and my evil knew no boundaries.

When it came time to leave the orphanage I took my ill gotten gains and invested in real estate, purchasing the largest hedgehog ranch the world has ever known. Life is good now. I raise hedgehogs and drink beer. When I run out of beer, I shoot guns".

Yeah, I know a few of these rascals, a telling of which would make a fairly entertaining novella and just might compromise national security. Long story short, I honestly believe it was destiny which saw Demosthenes, PB, Lacerda, Daria, DogStarMan, Ergo, Detta, 7th, 12AX7, and the others all released from reform school on the same day. As luck would have it I picked them all up hitch-hiking. It was the christian thing to do, they paid their debt to society, and what they did was in the past.

Ah yeah, much love for the whole damn crew.

For those with enquiring minds, the reason for Lacerda's leit motiv of a "swift kick square to the stones" gaining such notoriety is because of a gender issue. Imagine if you will a stealthy figure slipping from the shadows, rushing you, and before you can react launching a well placed kick straight to your sack. You're assed out, laying there in pain, as this "crotch-kicking fiend" quickly returns to the shadows. All that you can clearly recall of the assault is those glowing red eyes. Some say this "Phantom" was a man...some say a woman. As the attacks increased in frequency so did the gender questions. Finally, with the advent of the sport of "FootHockeyPornBall" (and the meteoric rise of Lacerda as it's biggest star) all questions were laid to rest. Lacerda was a man, and now under much public scrutiny. It became much harder for him to indulge in a little bit 'o kick the crotch. The incidents became few and far between, to the extent that they are almost unheard of today, although some whisper that he has a brother waiting in the wings to carry on the family tradition...

I was able to wait it out the last couple of times. All you cool kids are here now so I thought I might put in an appearance. I tried to wait it out this time also, but I guess I ran out of won't power. Hope all is going well for you two. Have ya'll been to see the wild at all this season?

Sadly to say there's no cheese. The whole dang state is rationing it. It's freezing balls cold right now and all the cows are giving solid ice-cream at the dairies. Summer seems so long ago...when cheese was so plentiful the streets were paved with smoked gouda.

We just went to see the Minnesota Wild play the LA Kings a couple of weeks ago in St Paul... we had club seats. It was pretty nice, and it was a really good game... kind of a long drive for us though. We live in St. Cloud.
