New older geek..

Hi.  Boomer here.  Worked with PeopleSoft, web upgrades for years.  However, newbie to website development.  Just way, way over my head.  Very frustrating but learning.  Thought I could learn more from the younger geeks of today.

The younger geeks of today are the older geeks of tomorrow, but the younger geeks of tomorrow are not the older geeks of today. How can that be explained?
