What's going on with me?

I've got nothing better to do right now than hang out online, so I figure some of you might want to know what I've been doing recently and get the run-down, etc. I imagine there's a predictable first question to get out of the way:

Q: What brings you back here?
A: I found the Wayback Machine again and decided to plug in my favourite old site (HN) on a whim to see if I could catch a glimpse of it. No dice, but it did lead to me thinking about TehGeekery (OMFGLOL!!11!!) again, and thus... here I am!

So, what's going on with me? Well:

1) I'm a professionally employed writer now... or at least that's what I like to tell people. ;) I'm actually a proposal writer for a military contractor in Maryland. So KINDA like being a professional writer, if you look at it one way.

2) I got married to a wonderful woman last year, and last month we moved into a one-bedroom apartment located near pretty much anything we could want in walking distance. It's an awesome location.

3) I play a lot more WoW than I probably should, but it's a cheap form of entertainment, what can I say?

Thanks! I like my job, but it entails working with a lot of idiots sometimes.  I think that goes for just about any job, though. I get to wordsmith, and that makes me happy.

Congrats! :) I can't get to the Armory from work (filtered, natch) but I'll check it out when I get home.

Also, my email address (in the Facebook thread) is also my RealID name, so shoot me a friend request if you so desire. You'll be able to see firsthand how much I play...

Anyway, these two are my most-played, but I have a host of other characters. The guild I'm in does nothing, I mostly play with friends these days. People from my wife's guild, mostly.

But I'm a huge fan of the South Park WoW episode.

Yep.

And what's new with me.  Will since HN was given the Istanbul treatment, I pretty much stuck to BC and Teh Geekery.  I dabbled in myspace for a while until it got old and actually had a fairly active blog there for awhile.  Then joined facebook when they opened it up to anyone.  Never got into the tumbler thing.  And youtube has the potential to really eat up a ton of time, but I've only delved sparingly into it.  I'm working on my 21st year of marriage (it will finally be legal to imbibe), have an autistic son who is almost four years old, have a cool new job as of just short of three years ago, and basically same old same old but different.

I'm on Shadowsong, and I have 6 level 80's...  I'm thoroughly burnt out.  I'm not sure if cataclysm will reignite the fire for me or not.

And I agree, the South Park wow episode was epic.  That's the oldest saved show on my DVR.
