They should do something to revive Star Trek but having someone else play Kirk is a bad idea.  Shatner is Kirk and Kirk is Shatner.

"Pleasantly surprised " that Superman is as good as it is and that it fits so well with the first two movies.

"Well, it was hard for star Wars to pick of where they left off when you consider it was a prequel."

Yes of course, I didn't mean it literally.  Just in terms of the feeling of the movie.

Forget I made the anology.  I'm just saying I liked the new Superman and was pleasantly surprised.

This is getting confusing.  What I was saying is that the new Superman feels like it fits right in with the first 2 Superman movies in the way the new Star Wars movies should have connected to the original Star Wars movies.  Superman succeeded in picking up the franchise all these years later right where it left off.

Hello again.  Foundation does refer to the book and not the makeup.  It's hard to think of something relevant to what you like and makes sense to other people, so I just went with that.

Superman connects with Superman I and II in the way that the new Star Wars movies should have.

Hi.  Mike from NY here.  Software Developer by day, Geek by night.
Love reading and at this late stage in my life (I'm 29) I only just started reading graphic novels.  I always thought they were dumb before.

My favourite thing to be Geeky about these days is the new Battlestar Galactica.  Star Trek is in the past.
