Anarchy / Idiots using computers

http://www.rinkworks.com/stupid/

This website's chock full of people who do NOT know how to use a computer.
Too bad, a lot of these events happened quite a few years ago. Nowadays, we have fewer people who have no clue how to use a computer. I said fewer, not "none". You just have to look harder to find them...

"I'd like to buy the Internet. Do you know how much it is?"

There's a post minimum put in place to stem the tide of spammers, idiots, and those who only sign up for free technical support. Now I'm not saying you're any of those three, but if you mean to stick around for awhile and enjoy yourself, you certainly won't mind making 47 more posts, each filled with merit, would you? Then you're more than welcome to post in there.

As for spam, we absolutely hate it. That's not the reasoning at all, believe me. There's moderators here to control the flow, although sometimes we leave the faucet on accidentally. Whoops.

I'm also not trying to pick a fight, but there's no need for sarcasm either. If you're really that upset with the whole situation, by all means, feel free to turn tail and walk right back out the door.

Does that answer your question?

Yep
I do have to say, now, that the post count does make a good bit of sense.

Sorry if I was offending.

Well, that's one way to get started off on the wrong foot in a forum  :|

I'm a tech heavy person (why else would I be here?) and it just pisses me off that there are a certain number of posts you must have before you can post in the "Hardware, software, and other imperialist crap" forum. And the flames forum. So that's why this is here.
I mean, I don't really get the point of it. I mean, you call this website "the geek forum", and you can't even post in the forum that contains techie stuff until you have a certain number of posts.
Yeah, real nice.

(and plus, I would bet that you're getting users to just spam other threads to be able to post in there. genius, truly)

Just wanted to say a few words before I go off and give this forum a nice dose of my sarcasm.

I'm a programmer. My main language is python, but I'm in the process of learning C (damn memory allocation). I'm also a web developer, and I can be very critical of websites. Those smiley faces with the white pixels around them are driving me CRAZY. (have a look at http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/. Tis very interesting)

Anyway, I'm not much of a person to talk about myself, so I'll go digging through this forum.
