Do. You. Like. Anchovies.

i can't honestly answer that. i've never eaten anchovies. ever.

(bonus info.....i probably never will unless paid ungodly sums of money in a bet)

It's nice to know you have an active social life.

Do you like anchovies?

sadly, it's just an excuse for our small group of nerds to pretend we have social lives and get together on thursdays.

at some point the conversation will turn to what comics we got on comic wednesday. ;_; it's really very very sad.

cause i know i am. seriously, that was a hilarious show. it's not like stan lee needs the money or anything but wow. it's like a train wreck you can't pull yourself away from watching. it's back this month and i can't wait for it. there will be many pizzas and beers consumed while watching this with friends.

I watched The Prestige last night and i have to say the movie is awesome and i think everyone who hasn't seen it should and if you have seen it watch very closely.
"are you watching closely?"

first line of the movie and it's SO important. i actually just watched this again last night on a whim and still love it just as much as i did the first time around. i definitely prefer this to the illusionist.

this movie looks awesome and the viral marketing is paying off. http://www.1-18-08.com

a lot of people thought the whole ethan haas thing was related to this but JJ Abrams has said officially that the two aren't related.

i cant wait to find out more.

well i came across this site through a random google search. my old forums are riddled with drama and cliques and really it's just gotten a bit out of hand. i'm so tired of females there feeling the need to be attention whore and for guys to white knight them because "OMG BOOBS ON TEH INTERNETS". it used to be a great place for all of our geeky conversations and such but now it's just not anymore.

about me....well i live in austin texas (coolest city in the ENTIRE state) and dabble in a bit of everything that i can. from reading comics to playing video games with friends and working on our computers to urban exploration, roller derby, welding, making glass beads, knitting and haggling the rare book dealer down the street. as you can probably tell by now....i generally avoid capital letters. i'm not lazy and DO, in fact, know where my shift key is but it's just my way. also, i'm a terrible speller and have even worse punctuation....just a warning lol.

feel free to ask me anything you may be curious about as well ^_^

i'm a pretty friendly person just looking for fellow geeky people to have drama free geeky conversations.
