The Ender Wiggin I knew wouldn't be so hypersensitive to people poking a little fun.
Also, he would have read some of this forum before expecting any serious tech-related help from a bunch of smartassed users who really couldn't care less.
That's just not true Demo I for one could care less

Yeah, you're a few years too late. You missed HN's heyday by quite a bit.
It needs a good house cleaning at the moment. I'm suprised it's lasted as long as it has considering The Greek hasn't stopped by in forever and a day.

I'm glad you didn't have it too bad root.
Anything material can be replaced, although as Judge mentioned the process of replacing might suck. Heck I'm the one who spilled a bottle of rum on my wedding photo negatives when coming back from my honeymoon.
My wife and my dog are the most important things. Anything else preserved would be icing on the cake.

I love the cold, comes with the territory anyway.
I enjoy it also. You just know things aren't going to go well when some freshwoman is on her cellphone complaining about how cold it is in New England (low 70's today). I wanted to take the phone away and say "Just wait until January"

^^^ I have no idea where you got that from.
I seriously LOVE new student day. International students ahoy! /drool
Too bad I'm kept locked up in my office and can't enjoy the scenery.
Our freshman showed up over the weekend also. All it means for me however is that it now sucks to find a parking spot. Oh and a bunch of too young eye candy wandering around bundled up against the "cold". Welcome to New England.

QOTD: Who was your favourite muppet?
All of them.... but if I can pick only one it would probably be Kermit. Do Waldorf and Statler count as one?

I used to really like the show but when I catch it lately it just bores me. Not sure why. Might have something to do with the actor and actress from Farscape being in it. Their characters from Farscape were much better.

I'm the project lead for Compeat and we're speeding up implementation so I'm working late nights right now. So I feel your pain Socrates
For the past 5 years my job has been pretty much doing nothing but ERP implementations for different places. I've been part of a JDEdwards at a manufacturing plant (FAA repair station), SAP at a food delivery company and now Banner at a higher eductation. I actually really enjoy doing it. You just have those periods where you got no free time at all.

You're doing Peoplesoft as well?
I wish, doing Banner.

Socrates! Welcome back!
Thanks cat. I've been reading the site but works has been really busy. We're implementing the first stage of our ERP rollout in 5 weeks and doing all of the final testing leading up to it. Making up for the months of plenty of time to loaf on the web.

QOTD: Which breed of dog do you prefer? Or which breed of cat?
Currently have a border collie. Certainly keeps me busy. Not much of a cat person.

QOTD 8/1/2006: What's the most you've ever paid for a pair of sunglasses?
I got sick of the crappy sunglasses not working all that well so I shelled out about $170 for some oakleys 3 years ago. I'm happy with them. Plus I tend to take better care of them than the $30 glasses I used to buy and break constantly.

I used to play magic, about a year back.
Same here, except replace "year" with "eleven years".
Same here except replace "year" with "13 years". That's not really true I still play occasionaly but haven't bought any cards in years. Yes I started playing when it first came out. I've got a bunch of beta edition cards and most of Arabian Nights that I would actually use and drive collectors batty. We usually play Hold'em, Cribbage, Munchkin, Killer Bunnies, Ninja Burger. Just off the top of my head.

I just must have a lot of nerve endings where that particular tattoo is located.
That's what you get for having your nipple tattooed

QoTD: What is your soft drink of choice?
I don't normally drink any soda. When I do it's a little bit of diet Coke with a lot of rum.

QoTD: Are you healthy?
Reasonably so, I run 5 days a week and try to get some Yoga in every night. Considering that I was 245 with a boderline high blood pressure 3 years ago and now I'm down to 180 with a perfect blood pressure I think I'm doing pretty good.

I hope you're making some money off of your talent.
The market for insulting Wacom portraits is surprisingly low
I love it! and wasn't expecting anything. Thanks

QoTD: What are your Independence Day plans?
Made a trip to Pekin Indiana. They say that they have the longest running 4th of July celebration in the country.
See that's funny. Where I live currently has what they are calling the longest running 4th of July celebration in the country. It's a 2+ hr parade and according to that site has been going on for 221 years. Me I left town and visited my parents.

It was the Explorer of the Seas- we did a Caribbean cruise last year.
I just got back from a cruise on Empress of the Seas in April and was on the Serenade of the Seas a couple of years ago. I thought it looked like a Royal Caribbean ship. Welcome.
