Hello, both of your Shift keys appear to be damaged. Tell me, what is the theory behind a temporal causality loop?

ah! let me tell you before hand, i am a crappy explainer of things, but i will do my best.

temporal causality loop, is when a certain amount of time repeats itself kinda. dejavu is a "symptom" i guess you can call it of it, though it doesnt mean dejavu will happen from it.

It's for those of us who have stuck around to reward/punish those who are deserving.  There's a thread about it somewhere, perhaps you could search on the word and find it.

Well, that's not exactly it, but since you are not a good explainer, then I shall instead riddle you with... a riddle. OK, trivia is more like it.

In TOS, name the title of the episode where the bad guys have their faces painted half white and half black. Almost like they came out of bad Star Trek episode...

This will be worth 5 positive karma. Incorrect answers will result in negative karma.

Name one that isn't!

I'm gonna get the full STTOS in those groovy pod cases. Some day.

I have a copy of the old samizdat Concordance put together by the proto-trekker Bjo Trimble long before the WWW. In those days, there was nowhere -- nowhere -- where one could go to find out anything about ST eps. Except the Concordance. I have a newer copy, too, but I cherish my tattered old Concordance and bring it out reverentially on occassion and recite the STTOS mission statement in garbled English -- Spess, teh finalu faroontare. Tesseh ra teh voyglassu fo teh sterra sheepu anturaparassu no tis fivva yarreh missa... (&c.) -- like they recited the Pledge of Allegiance in The Omega Glory. Then I give myself a nerve pinch, drink some wodka and go to bed.

Nice!

I have all of the TOS on DVD.  I had several of the two episode ones before they released the entire seasons so they screwed me by holding off on the release.

My name is dcrog.  I too have all of the original on VHS.  I taped mine before they started releasing them.  This is starting to sound like an AA meeting.

Welcome new one.

Who or what constitutes the "higher power" in the minds of recovering Trekaholics?

Welcome, I am not a fan of the originals, my favourites are voyager's journey and the enterprise. A diff kind of trek then most but I have all episodes of those on DVD. I also have Deep Space Nine but for some reason I can't get into that one.

I've never been able to get into DS9 either.

My favorites are TOS and TNG.
