Hi everyone who reads this... well, what can I say about me? My name is Sylvia, but i rather be called Silvy... I love reading all kinds of literature... well, at least most of it... beside a geek, i'm also an artist, I paint in acrylic & oils... I live in Costa Rica... oh yeah, almost forgot, I'm proud of my geekness, there aren't much of us around this country...

not at the moment... almost all of my paintings are in a exposition and I don't have any pictures of them, I'll have them back maybe in a week, so, I'll make a blog then

Yes, I can imagine it would. Not everyone is using the black theme, however.

English is my first language, and yet I wouldn't say I speak it perfectly.

yeap... I used to talk with "tu" but, when I moved here to Costa Rica I got used to the "vos", 'cause most of the people here uses it

Yeah; no matter where you go, there are different modes of speech...I guess what we call slang. I know that only in Spain and Costa Rica do you use "vosotros" and its form of verbs.

Known as dialects or regional vernacular, not slang. Slang is more akin to jargon.

yeap... but here is most like in Argentina, because we give "vos" the use os "tu", but "vos" has forms by itself, different of "vosotros"

Vosotros has the confusing conjugations. I never liked it.

I wish that my high school Spanish teacher hadn't been such a psychotic freak. I can read bits and pieces of it to this day, maybe enough to get by, but I can't keep up when it's spoken. It's a beautiful language.
