I intended no offence by it, I just like to mix things up every now and then.  "Yanks" is a term that does seem to piss most Americans off, so I refrained from using that.

Please do feel free to call me a "limey" if you wish.  I'm Scottish, so it'd be inacurate, but I won't hold it against you. =P

We're all distant cousins anyway, so it's all good. ;)
