I used to work with this batshit crazy lady -err- I mean born again christian lady. There was a few of us talking, and somehow the subject of UFOs came up. First they were talking about whether they exist, which is a stupid question, it is is self-evident. There are clearly Objects which are both Unidentified and Flying. But I said that way back in the day, when someone saw something they couldn't explain, they said it was a demon. Then a little later, they said it was a ghost. Now we say it's an alien. Maybe we're right this time, who knows. but she comes straight back and hit's me with "There are no aliens or ghosts."

"But there are demons."

In my memory she has this wide eyed stare and the camera zooms right up to here face like in a low budget horror movie, but that's probably just embellishment over time on my part.

Another time, I innocently said something about cavemen, and you can imagine how that went.

The picture of the whale/pleisiosaur being hauled from the deep was also in a wonderful creationism/dinosaur book my grandma gave me as a child that was all about how dinosaurs came on the arc with Noah, except the ones who were abominations and drowned.
