I'm new. And I guess you'd call me a geek.
« on: October 06, 2008, 02:51:58 PM »

Hey. I'm Kathryn. I'm a 'geek', sort of. By that I mean I'm more of a geek than most of my peers, but I could do a lot better. (Actually aspiring to be more geeky, how screwed up is that.) The two main things that are working against me are:

I'm female.
-and-
I'm only fifteen.

The thing about myself that's most irritating right now is my tendency to overload introductions like this with too much information, so I'll just list my generic interests and if you want to know more, you can ask.

My interests:
-Music (I play cello, clarinet, and trombone 'fluently'(ish), but could probably pick out Mary Had a Little Lamb on anything you threw at me. Oh yeah, and I sing.)
-Science (Chemistry, Psychology/Sociology, and Physics specifically, but anything's good)
-Reading (anything, I prefer Sci-Fi/Fantasy)
-Writing (poems, stories. I'm not all that great, but I have some of my works up on the Web, if you want the link [which I doubt, honestly])
-Computers (I'd love to learn to code, but again, I don't have the exposure)
-Meeting Fellow Geeks and comparing personalities/hobbies/weird traits/ect. (I'd love to see how other self-described geeks compare to me)

Yeah. That's about it. Message me if anything here sparks your interest. Or not. The choice is yours. (making fun of a person in authority at my school, if you get this, you probably know me and should message me now.)

That is EXACTLY what an FBI agent would ask.

Come on!  Everyone knows there are no real girls on the webernets.  Anyone posing as a girl, especially one between the ages of 13 and 16, MUST be an FBI agent.

Common knowledge.

Why don't you start with a capital on the beginning of a sentence ?

Hello, new person. I also (and frequently) put things (i.e. words, sentences (if I can create full (i.e. complete) ones (sentences)), phrases, limericks (that's a funny word)) in paretheses.

Ohh. Got it. My 'reputation' preceded me. Alright then. XD (I would like to work for the CIA some day, though...)

I love limericks.

Music sparks my interest. And I'm 13. However this is irrelevant as I also work in FBI.
