Disney is 9 years old. He was an outdoor cat for the first 7 years. He made the transition to indoor kitty way easier than I expected.

This is Stupid. Ok.... her name is really Cadence, but nobody calls her that because she's about as smart as a bag of hammers. She's not being shy in that pic... she must always be touching me and this was the way she chose to touch me once while I was reading on the couch. The second pic is a little better.

She is an American Bulldog actually with some unknown other breeds. I usually like to say I wasn't a dog person until I got her but my girlfriend likes to say I'm still no a dog person, I'm just a abby person.

I do volunteer work with cats, and can I tell you how awful some of the names are! The woman who has taken it upon herself to be in charge of naming them misspelled Frodo the other day as, "Frotto". Every time I pass his cage I cringe. Other winners: cagemates "Marsh" and "Mellow", "Jumping" and "Jacks", and, "Dusty Tail". She means well and loves these cats, but DAMN. Poor dears.

i love that cat dearly. i'm glad it's you that's taken her in and not some total stranger. she's such a fantastic cat- but yes, you're right. she needs A TON of affection. just be happy phyre got her fixed before she became yours- i'm sure you remember, it was a zillion times worse before!

i had a cat named kerouac, and when he died and was subsequently replaced, i named the new cat jack. i didn't put it together till almost a year later. i just really liked the name jack. this is what jack looks like when i wake him up from a nap to take a picture:

My parents are in love with their dogs, and my dad always insists on taking pictures of them and posting said pictures here (http://www.prestodog.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/).
Of course, I'm the one who always get summoned when the site isn't working correctly, or something gets messed up. :roll:

i took daisy to the vet today because she's been having problems with her left ear lately. turns out she had a hematoma, which the vet has popped (for lack of a better word..) and now she has to wear one of those silly cone things around her head for the next three weeks. the poor dog is constantly running into walls and getting stuck in small walkways. it's adorable.

Ah...no worries. I like remembering him. His name was Peeler cos his fur was just like your cat's; but the white fur made a little milk mustache- across his top lip, one side of his bottom lip, and down his chin to his chest, lol. Peeler is a brand-name of milk in South Carolina where we're from. *goes to get pics*
Yeah, Boots (hey, didn't name her) has the same little mustache thing going on. She's much bigger now, but is still a relatively small cat. And she's fluffy... I love fluffy cats. :D

Sorry, the little orange guy has already been spoke for by our next door neighbor. He is adorable, though not terribly bright. Occaisionally, he'll wander off from the other kittens, suddenly figure out he's alone, and then commence to shrieking until me or my room mate finds him and takes him back to the others.
There's actually one more kitten that wasn't in the picture, but she's apparently the little goth kitten because she hangs out in the corner and growls at everyone.

We went to the flea market and passed three different sets of kittens being given away. I want another orange boy, just like Percy. But there weren't any orange ones OR males!
You're kittens are adorable!! (Of course, what kittens aren't?) You can name one of the boys Percy II. That's what I'm going to name mine when I get one. Percy the Original, was named for Sir Percival Blakeney from the Scarlet Pimpernel.
You can name two of them Forest and Jenny. I think that's really cute. Hey, then you can name the other girl Lady Blakeney or Marguerite.
That's what I would name my kittens if I had four of them.

Yeah, a rottweiler killed my Percy too. Percy wandered into his yard though. I still give the dog a dirty look though when I come home. That'll show him!!

Yeh. It really sucks for MowMow; cos I aint letting him go outside, but he knows what its like "out there". He cries and cries, goes from the front window to the back porch to the front window... tries to make a run for it whenever I open the door to go in or out.
Not until he's bigger, and I get his Freddy claws and chain mail jacket welded up to fit. Maybe then, as long as Im outside with him and not too busy to keep an eye on him.
The Rotty had best not venture into my domain again, either. Just sayin.
I completely know the pain. When we first moved here my cat, Kitty (go figure), wanted to go outside. Generally we don't let our cats out until a few months after we've moved for reasons like dogs and mean neighbors. (One neighbor kicked my cat George in the side, breaking its ribs, thus rendering it drowning in his own blood, and finally dead.) But Kitty just had to have out. He started peeing on things, and I can't stand the smell of catpee. So, I decided 'ah, once won't kill him', and then he never came back! DON'T GIVE IN. No matter how cute or sad or pathetic that little kitty face is. :(

Get one now. They are invincible. They live longer than most humans and they are adorable. However I suggest a filter of some sort if you get a larger aquarium to hold the bugger. It helps keep the water clean. Which is important because it tends to get dirty rather fast.
