I enjoyed both. Not in a "BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!" sort of way so much as in an "it was a fun romp and I don't regret having seen it" sort of way. Well, I wouldn't call Rogue One a "fun romp", but you know what I mean.
My favourite part about The Force Awakens was when Kylo Ren read the Mishawaka-area Community Calendar on the Colbert show.

Went to ALA Midwinter over the weekend. They were selling Raspberry Pis for $30, so we (being my wife and I) grabbed one.
Question: what shall we do with our newfound toy?

Horse-sized Peking Duck.

One horse-sized duck. For starters, it's easier to manage a 1-on-1 fight than a 100-on-1 zerg rush. Next, ducks only have 2 legs rather than 4, and their feet aren't designed to trample the crap out of people. Finally, ducks have lighter, thinner bones. This means that a horse-sized duck won't weigh as much as a horse, and that its bones will break far more easily.

I'll bite.
Galaxy Note 3. Yeah, it's a Hugh Jass phone. I like the bigger screen I can actually see. I like that I can use it as an ersatz tablet when necessary. I *really* like that I can use the S-pen when I want to jot something down or sketch something out rather than trying to fake it with the keyboard. And I like that these sketches interface nicely with Evernote.
4th Generation iPad w/ Retina Display. I use it quite a lot for a variety of purposes. It's my go-to for taking notes at meetings, doodling at meetings, looking at meeting agendas at meetings, that sort of thing. It's also useful for quick updates and email checks or showing someone a website real quick when I don't have a computer handy or it's not turned on or Windows is updating or such.
Canon EOS Rebel T2i. Why am I mentioning that here? Because it's my go-to camera. Yeah, the above devices have cameras. And megapixels. Allegedly lots of them. And the Rebel is big, kinda unwieldy and the opposite of easily portable. It also takes vastly superior photos, because, physics. It also gives me much broader control in terms of optical zoom, depth of field, light metering and a bunch of other stuff that makes a big difference in photography.

Nice. I'd personally like to see My Little Pony characters do Reservoir Dogs, but this is pretty good.

In the 80's, what they played on the radio required both rhythm and melodic variation. It was important to "sing" in the "correct key." In the 90s, this became less important when they realized you didn't need to have the same person singing as was pretending to sing (see: Vanilli, Milli.) Then with electronic processing and pitch correcting, even that became superfluous. I won't get into hip-hop, which completely does away with the melodic aspect.
