Loss of Space on USB Device
« on: March 31, 2009, 03:18:42 AM »

Hey Guys

I am new here to this forum and I have already got a question to ask.

Um.. Yesterday, I bought a new SanDisk Cruzer Pattern 8GB from my local electronics store, Clas Ohlson.

Today, something really weird happened. All of a sudden, the capacity of the drive has been halfed down, to 4GB. I really got mad, but I cannot do anything, since I have opened and used it. I don't think that the store want to look at it at all, although I haven't been down there yet to ask them for mercy.

I have tried different solutions, among them is the Partition Manager that followed with my installation of Windows XP. Yet, nothing seems to be working.

Do you guys know how to restore the space that I have lost?

Thanks in Advance!

You seem really nice and sweet, but gawd, read the forum r00ls matey. Introduce yourself in the new geeks corner. People like manners around here, you'll be a lot more likely to get help.

Peace.

Uh... What's so wrong with Scandinavians? We are as trustworthy as you are. :P omg, I feel like I'm being some sort of an enemy here.
And by the way, this is going straight off-topic.

Did they ever explain what was wrong with the Jupiter one to necessitate having a Jupiter two?

The "Jupiter 1" sticker fell off and Ace Hardware only carries "Jupiter 2" stickers.
