Well, supposedly soon there will no longer be such a thing as Bulgarian or French Feta, because "Feta" is now protected by a EU PDO. Which is a shame, because the French and Bulgarian products are highly prized among Feta experts. French Feta is usually less salty than either Greek or Bulgarian (and is mostly made in the Roquefort region), and Bulgarian Feta is creamier and tangier than its counterparts. Nothing to turn one's nose up at here -- all those people in that part of the world have been making Feta-like cheeses for millenia.

Ironically, because of the PDO status, even Cretian Feta will no longer be called Feta (because Crete is not Greece), even though that is where the first Feta (by that name) was made.

I like savory pies and fruit tarts, so I'll say Shepherd's Pie and Tarte Tatin.

I like to cut my pies in sevenths, that way I can have 22 slices.
