Pseudo, we're not sure how this confirmation bug works, but if you change your email to another valid email, you should be able to break out of it. Besides being valid, the email must be unique in the HN database.

He did, but I'm not sure you want the morons who switch their email adresses to be easily returning. It's self-bannination, really.

I didn't mean people who change their email addresses are morons. I meant the morons in general who ban themselves by switching email accounts. Eh. Fuck. You know what I meant.

I thought about that and decided that first, just like the cretins who ask for hacking advice after reading the FAQ, it really doesn't matter WHAT you post -- they'll do what they do regardless. Second, if they actually figure out how to reactivate an account, that allows me to ban them. An account stuck in confirmation can't be banned.
