Well, actually it isn't. But I am also not left handed, and have been known to run around with giants from time to time, so perhaps that is close enough. :wink:
My name is Jen. Amaranth is a descriptor that I'll answer to, and that manages to separate me from the seven billion other Jens that seem to have been born in the seventies. I ended up here by googling "geek forums". Well, sort of. I found this place by way of google. I decided to stop and visit because I saw pbsaurus's avatar and about fell out of my chair laughing. Had to see what kind of strange place hosted such things. Once I'd looked around a bit, I couldn't not register. Go fig. You people are funny.
Necessary things to know about me: I like RPG's (both of the video and pen & paper variety), comic books (anybody here read Phil Foglio?) and toys of most kinds. I'm a divorced mom of two; they eat up most of my time & energy but in the end I don't mind so much. Also, I'm a smilie addict. I will use them entirely too much, and then go find new ones to use. I do try and restrain myself, but the little faces are just so damn expressive. :oops:
So that's me in something slightly smaller than a nutshell. I'm sure more will make it's way out later. In the meantime...um, hi? :wink:

I knew you were going to say that so I said it first. But you are an intelligent person so you must have known that I would have known and therefore you weren't going to say welcome and watch out for the ROUS and you in fact didn't guess you would be limited to warning about the fires and quicksand and the sicillians.
But... I am also an inteligent person and you must have know that so clearly, your knew that I was going to know... Ah fuck it. I'm too busy to finish this!

How old are your chillins?
My boy is four and my girl is eight. They are...precocious, to say the least. But lots of fun. Right now they're having a contest to see who can toss heads on a penny the most times out of ten. I think the prize is first choice from the Halloween leftovers. Ya gotta love Halloween. It is (for me, at least) the only time of year when I actually get so sick of candy that I throw some away and feel good about it. (Yes, the rest of the time I feel guilty. Candy should not be wasted. I still don't throw away the chocolate, though.)

I defy you to prove to me that pirates do any such thing. As a group they are relatively useless for anything outside of pillaging, raping, looting, buckling swashes and stealing maidens (see the above referenced raping). They also kick ninja's sorry arses, but that's just the opinion of one lowly pirate...:wink:
