Well, I figure it's high time I made my triumphant return to these forums, so I'll reintroduce myself to those who aren't savvy:
I am Leonidas. I like booze, playing guitar, fooling with computers, weightlifting, playing football and basketball, sleeping, and being sarcastic. I am also an HN refugee with a lot of free time on my hands, so you may be seeing a lot of me from now on.
I believe this is my third introductory thread here. I like to take lots of vacations, apparently...

Hey Leo, welcome to the geekery!
-
...and being sarcastic.
Not really, though... right?
I've missed you, Leo. No... really.
-
Welcome back!
-
Heya! It's nice to see people i remember from HN.
-
It's about fucking time.
-
I expect more refugees in the future. We should set up a tent for them or something.
Welcome back, Leo! :)
-
And a soup line.
Greetings, Leon!
-
When cat asks me to pitch a tent, I don't wait to hear it twice.

It's about fucking time.
Indeed. Welcome dude!

Wilkommen!

Welcome back man!

So let me see if I understand... An established community of individuals who speak and understand a lingo of some kind should refrain from doing so for your benefit simply because of your unwillingness to do a basic search? That's a little presumptuous don't you think? That's sort of like me going to New York and demanding to be served in french where ever I go because *I* am a French Canadian.
-
I would just like to make sure I understand you, so please bear with me. Before you can even give anyone a chance to welcome you, you're demading help with A-fucking-OL in your intro thread. Pretty much as soon as you're done with that, you chime in on another thread (that no one invited your two cents on in the first place) and start swearing at people for using acronyms that you don't know. Seriously, if I were you, I'd rethink the way you're starting out here.
EDIT: You're creeping me out Judgie, and I demand that you GET OUT OF MY HEAD. Evidently I was writing mine as you were posting yours.

Good jorb!
P.S. new guy, jorb = job
-
would people stop using fucking acronymns on the internet...its cool and all when you know what it means...but for someone...who for instance, has been out of the loop for a minute, it gets kind of bothersome..
because everytime we come to ask what HN or HJ or SAK or MSH means, we get blasted by jaded douche bags....
so anyhow....whats HN...like i give a shit, what does it mean?
thanks,
-james
