Title: Youtube problem
Post by: Min on May 22, 2009, 05:04:30 PM
I uploaded my first video ever onto youtube.  It's a montage of video clips from my wedding and reception that the videographer put together with the song that we had our first dance to in the background.

Of course...youtube cut out the audio because we don't have permission from Juanes and Nellie Furtado to dance to upload their damn song.

Anyone know how to get around this?

Write them (Furtado) and get permission, repost it, then sue the shit out of Youtube when they delete the audio again.

I got nothin'. Sorry. :-(

Nuthin'.  I might have a copy of the song on my computer that I got offa napster many years ago.  Do you think it will have whatever it is that triggers their copyright signal?
