I believe you can even set-up a basic firewall to protect your IP address or identity from incoming or outgoing inquiries. 4

I had a similar problem the other day...
Try shutting down your PC and then unplugging the power from your modem. Wait like five seconds and plug it back in. Reboot and whenn all your modem lights are green, with one flashing amber light(I use Surfboard.), open IE and try accessing the page you need. Edit:Day late....dollar short. 5
