I've always loved geeks, however...

Sweet, a fan. I've never had a fan before.

Salutations, by the by, and welcome to the forum. Beside geeks, what other interests do you have?

If there's one lesson I will take out of this life, it's that there are rednecks everywhere.  EVERYWHERE.

Too True. Much too true. Scary true.

I'm just glad that I opted ps3 simply because I was most excited about it because of Vader. Though, when you go into Arcade mode, you have to defeat the apprentice. I was reading up on it, and you can unlock him - he's pretty powerful. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to yet because of due dates. I wish I owned rather than rented it.  :|

I just finally read Stupid Sexy Flanders and the Sorcerer's Stone.  I don't get the end when Dumbledorf tells Harry that only someone who was trying to FIND the stone could actually find it and that if someone were looking to USE the stone that they never would find it.  Wouldn't that make it a bad thing that Harry went down there?  If he didn't, the dude(s) would be down there forever looking for it, right?

Well, the mirror of Erised shows you what you want most, right? Well, Voldemort simply wanted the stone - so the  mirror depicted him having it and using it. Meanwhile, Harry wanted to find the stone most - so the mirror showed Harry finding it, in a manner of speaking.

Yeh. It really sucks for MowMow; cos I aint letting him go outside, but he knows what its like "out there". He cries and cries, goes from the front window to the back porch to the front window...   tries to make a run for it whenever I open the door to go in or out.
Not until he's bigger, and I get his Freddy claws and chain mail jacket welded up to fit. Maybe then, as long as Im outside with him and not too busy to keep an eye on him.
The Rotty had best not venture into my domain again, either. Just sayin.

I completely know the pain. When we first moved here my cat, Kitty (go figure), wanted to go outside. Generally we don't let our cats out until a few months after we've moved for reasons like dogs and mean neighbors. (One neighbor kicked my cat George in the side, breaking its ribs, thus rendering it drowning in his own blood, and finally dead.) But Kitty just had to have out. He started peeing on things, and I can't stand the smell of catpee. So, I decided 'ah, once won't kill him', and then he never came back! DON'T GIVE IN. No matter how cute or sad or pathetic that little kitty face is. :(

3. Pennsylvania - Pa. C.S.A. 18.908. Prohibited offensive
   weapons. (a) Offense defined.--A person commits a
misdemeanor of the first degree if, except as authorized
by law,  he makes, repairs, sells, or otherwise deals in,
uses, or possesses any offensive weapon. (b) Exception.--
It is a defense under this section for the defendant to
prove by a preponderance of evidence that he possessed of
dealt with the weapon solely as a curio or in a dramatic
performance, or that he possessed it briefly in
consequence of having found it or taken it from an
aggressor, or under circumstances similarly negativing any
intent or likelihood that the would be used unlawfully.
   (c) Definition.--As used in this section "offensive
weapon" means... any... dagger, knife, razor or cutting
instrument, the blade of which is exposed in an automatic
way by switch, push-button, spring mechanism, or
   otherwise
...

That is really sad. I live in PA.

I don't much care for laws against sharp objects. I've started collecting. I've got 4 swords, one of which is a replica for Blade, 2 short swords, 3 daggers (two of which are ceremonial), and a switch blade I carry with me everywhere.
Earlier today I was in a small gun/bicycle shop in town, and there is this delicious Cutlass Machete. Though, a Neck Knife would be lovely too.

Anyone play Soul Caliber IV yet? I did on the PS3 version, and liked it pretty well. However, I am slightly disappointed Yoda isn't on the PS3 version of the game. I heard somewhere that down the road there is going to be a download available for game owners to get him on PS3s and get Vader on X360s.

You didn't have a clue that it wound turn out this way after seeing the cartoon of the same name?

I attempted to keep an open mind... obviously to my own detriment.

I was checking my homepage a few moments ago when I came across this wonderful news article about Bigfoot. Apparently, these Georgian folks have his corpse in their freezer, and have for over a month. I thought I'd bring this to others' attention simply because I can't believe the news -any news- would cover this story.

My eyes hurt tremendously now after trying to read your sig image.

You were that curious to try so hard?  :-P Did you make it out, at least? I simply haven't gotten around, or recieved the inspiration, to get a new one.

But back on the subject of dreams...
I dream of dead relatives/friends/aquaintences frequently. About 80% of the time, I'm trying to save them from imminent danger or death. But more oft than not, they are mixed with people I know to be living, who die instead.  :|

Time to mark on the bad horrendous grade for the Clone Wars movie. Of course, I know it was aimed for kids more than any other audience, but it irked me something terrible. It was so... so... so dreadful.  :-(
I subjected myself to the horror this afternoon.

Jaepheth, you are deffinately not crazy. :) I have strange dreams all the time. Though, I do have to say, as I was reading your dream it somewhat reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. But anyway...

One of my favourite re-occuring dreams involves lots of Zombies, a pirate ship, and a strange woman that claims to be my mother who descends in white mist from the ceiling of a cheap hotel. It's rather quite interesting. Especially when I get to the parts where I blow lots of stuff up with grenade launchers, flame throwers, and howitzer type artillery. (The Zombies never win due to this.)

The Divine Comedy, by Dante Alighieri.

Doing so also. Just flipped it open yesterday as a matter of fact.
I just finished Day By Day Armageddon by J. L. Bourne - which I definately liked. I've decided to take a peak into The Race For God by Brian Herbert, though so far it seems like slow work.

Slightly random query: Does anyone here read the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comics?

I don't want - I need that!

But on terms of the Clone Wars coming out this Friday... I want to give it a chance before I mark it with a bad grade. Lucas had a hand with it every step of the way, so I'm hoping that his genius hasn't gone completely and that it's been at least somewhat injected into the movie - and then the series to follow. Besides, even if it sucks, just think of all the new paraphanalia that stores are carrying again. Woot.

Actually, now that I think about it, you could just manually create a playlist with the songs you want in album order; several albums, even, and save it that way.
This is basically what I do.

Ooo joy, sounds like a plan. I'll get one that says "No, she will not fix your computer --->"

Sweet. So on the off days, when I'm doing laundry, the message will still get across! I'm in.
