Hardware, Software, and Other Imperialist Crap / IE virus???
« on: October 22, 2004, 01:50:59 PM »
I use IE, I prefer it.  I havn't had a virus in years, or any problems with it in years for that matter.

It's user error, not program error.

If you ever have a problem in the future, download a tool called hijackthis

http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html

it will just show a list of whats currently running, whats currently installed on IE, etc

then you can check all the bad ones and it will delete them.  It's a great supplement to spybot and ad-aware

12
get the three following tools:

Spybot: Search & Destroyer
Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Hijackthis

Make sure you get a PCI express compatible mobo, an Athlon, and ATI

They are necessary.

Search on yahoo.com for like "file transfer hack"... there used to be a little .exe that would fix this.

it will take huge pictures at okay quality.

i have a camera that is very similar and it does more than what i need for details

really, though, you won't be finding much of anything as... mp3's are kind of like...

okay imagine photoshop

you have all the layers, then you flatten them and save them..it's like that

they have channels, but the channels are determined by proccessors using a number of different variables

23
VPU's and CPU's are different...

now if you could figure out how to SMP radeon 9800's you could do that and play quake 3 (SMP supportive) at 10,000 frames per second at 1600x1200 with 6xAA and 12xAF

...

in our dreams.

Anarchy / Thank You Very Much, Cute FTP!
« on: July 07, 2003, 10:51:55 PM »
I use WS_FTP LE, it seems to be very 'slim.'  It is very fast, and free, too.  The only thing that pisses me off is the fact that it makes WS_FTP.LOG 'files' everytime you upload something... but... i usually just search for them in windows and delete them all at once every once and a while..
