It's a miracle I've gotten this far in life. Half of my family is 'one of those people.' I'm seriously considering getting that shirt that says "No, I will not fix your computer."

And this ends up in my intro thread why???

During my, so far short, stay here, I've learned that topics can become a whole other subject in a mere few minutes of the thread's making. Hence, that post has been put in your thread. By the by, welcome. :)

While we're on this topic, I nominate God as an overrated historical figure. He takes way too much credit for crap.

I second that.

That website is absolutely hilarious.  It only serves to deepen my disbelief at humanity's stupidity despite all of its achievements.

There is a "Spell Check" button located to the right of the "Post" button. It's quite handy - doing work for you and all.

While I disagree with the idea that he is not a "natural born citizen" since his parents were in the military and therefore, he SHOULD be considered a natural born citizen no matter what military base he was born on... I don't think it's preposterous at all. If we change the constitution to suit McCain, we are on a slippery slope. You never know, you might wake up one day and find Arnold Schwarzennager (sp?) president of the U.S. and that scares the shit out of me. Even moreso than having another republican in office who supports the war.

I support the war in Iraq. It's one of the main reasons I'm talking to my air force recruiter (Besides free college, woot).

Quote
It's preposterous that a technicality like this can make a difference in an advanced democracy.

All I have to say is simply, I agree with this statement by Professor Chin whole heartedly.

It seems to me that it's staged. Though I don't doubt that never happened before. My own brother would be a likely candidate.

Recently finished Outbound Flight by Timothy Zahn and Sharper Than A Serpent's Tooth by Simon R. Green.
Just stuck my nose inside of The Rising by LaHaye & Jenkins.
Adding The Origin of the Universe by John D. Barrow to my 'processing' list as soon as I am home once more.
Though, I really want to start Day By Day Armageddon by J. L. Bourne.

:-o The horror. How could anyone consider Star Wars stupid?! I may have to cry in the corner and languidly drink bleach for a number of hours.

ahhh. I understand now. haha

I completely ruined that. That's what I get for doing the math in my head and not checking it.

It is meant to be:
01010011 01101001 01110100 01101000
Sith

My apologies.

I think this thread got off topic, so I'm going to return it to its originally intended use.

Mazie Moo - My favourite temperamental fat kitty.

Kane aka Pooper - My baaaaaaaaby boy!

Commodore Steve of the McCooley Fool Dynamite Clan - Steve is my four foot green iguana. I love him. :) He's a pirate.

Thank you, BizB. I'll be sure to do that...

Dcrog - No, I have never written homo erotic a-team fan fiction. However, I fancy myself writting other things. (Non-erotic, not to burst any bubbles that may be involved.) I'm actually in the midst of writting a fantasy novel.
Forgive my misunderstanding, but... sktj?

What's happenin' folks? Via unwritten standard new-forum protocol, I supposed it would only be appropriate for me to manufacture an introduction.

Hi, my name is Liz, and I'm a Star Wars addict. I also have an avid interest in quantum mechanics and intoxicating myself with alcoholic beverages - preferably rum.  :-D (Not necessarily at the same time, of course)
Oh, and I find joy in translating and reading binary - I deduce that communicates to you, that I am a strange individual. Hopefully not.

I look forward to having lovely chatting sessions with all of you.
