I lost power for all of 20 minutes yesterday morning. However, I'm so far inland that it either has to make landfall south of Charleston or hit the OBX at a sharper angle. We got some wind and some beautiful partly cloudy weather. That is all.

We lost power Sun morning and still don't have it back, they're telling us it could be until this weekend.

It only takes one transformer. I don't know why but apparently it only takes one and they will take their sweet precious time fixing it.

yup, being on a peninsula probably doesn't help.  Of course since I can see the coal plant from the end of my street across the water I want to get a long extension cord and a row boat.
