This is a forum. This is also an html page that has been generated on the server from a php script which calls other html templates from around the server. And don't forget the SQL database that holds this text and user information.

This is also a thread that is designed to take up space in this forum so it will no longer be empty.

Start posting computer stuff. Now.

Question

Ok, hopefully someone can help me out. I am running Linux on my computer and in my browser (Opera) I can't seem to get JavaScript to work even though its enabled and everything. Does anyone know what my problem is and how I can fix it?

(There, I'm talking about computers, happy now!?!) :P

Some Java still does not work in Opera. However, if you go to the main page and the links on the left do not change to orange (the tables to orange that is), there is a problem. I'd reccomend going here and making sure that you have everything installed properly.

It's been a while since I have used Opera, but I remember some of the stuff didn't work, or didn't look the way that it should have looked. You gotta love the no popup thingie in Opera though, that is one of it's best features.

chris: hes talking about javaSCRIPT not java.
dazed: you may have an earlier verson of opera that doesn't support javascript (i don't use opera so i don't know the specs) or you may be trying to view a page that has coding errors, and therefore does not work.  try updating your opera browser and visiting other pages.
