Well it worked for me! The name I ended up with was "Travis". I looked in my palm and saw a "T" right away. Then I noticed more letters right after. They were "h-i-s-i-s-l-a-m-e"

I've got one that actually works...

1. Think of any number (you will be required to do some math, so keep it simple. But you can use any number. It does not matter)

2. Take your number and multiply it by 2.

3. Add 8

4. Divide the whole thing by 2

5. Take the value of this new number from step 4 and substract the original number you had selected from step 1.

6. Now convert your number to the corespondig alphabet letter (1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, etc...)

7. Finally, think of any country in the world that begins with your letter.

You are thinking of.....

Denmark!

(And if you couldn't come up with Denmark, you are obviously a morron)

My mistake. This is a very old trick. Apparently Denmark was the only country that started with the letter "D" at some point.

I suppose I should modify the instructions to ensure you can only choose Denmark, then it would be more impressive. Oh well...

Or I could just say "Name a country that begins with your letter AND that the second letter of the country name is also the next letter of your letter." But that would just confuse people.
