The Geekery Party (A prototype)
« on: February 13, 2005, 10:50:01 AM »

By some goodly amount of magic, the denizens of the this board end up in a rather large room.

Of the currently active, and formerly active but not banned or run out of town, members:

Who's the DJ?
Who's eating all the dip?
Who are you yourself most likely to be found in conversation with?
Who's already drunk?
Who is running around playing practical jokes on everyone?
Which members are making out in the corner?
Who's walking around with a camera, taking pictures for posterity (or their secret stash)?

Feel free to add more questions.

Depending on how many people showed up, I would be one of 2 people.

If there was a considerable crowd with lots of talking and music, I would be the quiet guy sitting somewhere focusing on just one person trying hard to "hear" them while mostly reading lips.  All the while, I would be fighting off an anxiety attack and resisting the urge to go sit on the porch or go for a walk.

If it was just a few people and the music was background noise rather than something that grabs your attention, I would likely be the funny guy doing my best to make people laugh.

I'd be joining BizB in his anxiety attack.

Parties...urf.

I'll answer these as best I know how:

Who's the DJ? HeavyJay
Who's eating all the dip? There are chips to go with this dip, right? Like there isn't just someone stuffing their hands into this globby white or green pool and thrusting these dripping monstrosities back into their eager maw, yes?
Who are you yourself most likely to be found in conversation with? That's like asking me which is my favourite flavour of icecream. ;)
Who's already drunk? If Nowledge ain't runnin' crunk, then I dunno what's goin' on... :)
Who is running around playing practical jokes on everyone? I don't know, but nothing annoys me more than people who play practical jokes at parties because they're almost invariably the kind that take no planning and are therefore shitty.
Which members are making out in the corner? WHAT KIND OF PARTY IS THIS ANYWAY
Who's walking around with a camera, taking pictures for posterity (or their secret stash)? That creepy Bobby kid - hey, who the hell invited him, anyway?

Is there going to be Karaoke?  I like Karaoke.

If it's close enough to here.  Say my garage or somewhere in this neighborhood.  I can have the brother-in-law bring his setup.

*Knock**Knock**Knock*

"Who is it?" asks Catwritr, hoping it is the pizza guy.

"The Pizza Guy" says a guy who claims to be the pizza guy.

Cat opens the door, and a man runs into the room shouting

"sure you banned my ip but now i am back OMFGLOL!!11"

Holy crap! I was thinking about this today.

Yeah, anyways...

What color would the wallpaper be? Sure, the yellow/black is good, but I'm more of an orange person
Can we invite guests?

Cause I'd invite someone to stand next to catwritr, so she'd look better by comparison.

Not that she'd need it or anything...    8)

Staying on my good side does not include sucking up, Sub-Par.

Dammit, Crystalmonkey! I knew there'd be party crashers, but I didn't expect to have to work.

For those who don't know where that is from, google "Spatula of the Ages."

Of any of those questions, I'd be conversing with Dark Shade...if he reads this, he'll know why.

By some goodly amount of magic, the denizens of the this board end up in a rather large room I cast charm person on Catwritr before she gets a chance to kick me in the nuts!

Who's the DJ? Don't care. As long as we get to shake our booty!

Who's eating all the dip? Not me. But PB looks like the kinda guy who would hang around the bowl of dip. Well... until the ladies show up anyway.

Who are you yourself most likely to be found in conversation with? EVERYONE! I'd start with Lacerda since we met on two occasions before, but I would go around the floor and gladly have a chat with everyone. (after having a few beers)

Who's already drunk? I'm not drunk ociffer!

Who is running around playing practical jokes on everyone? You'd think thats something I would do, but surpisingly, it's not. I would suspoect the quiet ones. Like BizB.

Which members are making out in the corner?
Detta & Needles

Who's walking around with a camera, taking pictures for posterity (or their secret stash)? Did you squeeze that one in just for me? Awwwwwwww! You're so considerate!

Feel free to add more questions. *smack* OOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!! Who the hell cast dispel magic on catwritr???

I'm not gay, I swear!

With Jay DJ'ing, I'll slip him some of my favs to play, then dance like a maniac.

Seems TheLordOfNothing's been hanging around the punchbowl a little too long...

And is that Xolik diving headfirst into the dip? Infantile.

Practical jokes are teh lame.  I'd rather make you laugh than make everyone around you laugh at you.

Can I be the DJ?

I've got some good tracks, and no file sharing software.
