I am currently trying to figure out whether a couple of old Sun workstations are still in useable conditions. I love old computers.

I have a couple of those sitting in my room.  If you ever figure out how to have them default to the VGA card I have in them, let me know.

No idea... both of mine worked just fine without needing to touch anything else.

Currently, compiling Linux kernel for a Gentoo installation... what can be more geeky than that?

I am currently a codegirl. State of geek remains unchanged since last night. I'm on the 12-step program for geekiness. I'll go down two steps after I catch DS9 this evening, though.

Hmm... right now? Nothing, I'm staying at work to read this (after work hours :P).

And after I reach my home? Dunno, guess I'll start coding until sleep catches me or the "You-have-to-stop-coding,-go-to-work-and-start-coding-there alarm bell rings".

Damned alarm clock.

I'm also a trekkie, and due to some weird customer payment problem with my dad he got the entire next generation series instead of a check in the mail. I was sick at the time, so I watched them all in a week or so  :) . I think Voyager is the best, though it is not widely known.

Hmm... not much of a Trekkie here (I actually think DS9 sucks, but it's just a personal opinion ;)), yet yes, Voyager is the "best" I've seen (even if for only a few episodes), but I don't like neither TNG nor DS9, so...

I also thought DS9 sucked, but I liked TNG the best out of all of them.  TOS was good too, if taken in the context of the time it was made.  Say what you want about William Fucking Shatner, he makes a good Captain Kirk.

TOS is the best by far.  TNG was alright for a while but was much too PC for me.  And I don't mean PeyoteCoyote because that would have been awesome.

For my upcoming birthday I got season 2 of TOS so now I just need season 3 and all will be right with the world.

I still enjoy reruns of Voyager every now and again. It seemed to do it for me, for awhile at least.

TNG always has a special place in my heart, though.

Installing a new HD, and copying 25G+ of files to it.... I am now officially too bored to be classified as a living being....

Besides, I need to get some sleep... it was a long night...
